    The URL Inspection tool is also underused. Live test shows you the rendered HTML Google sees, which is how I caught a lazy-load plugin hiding half the content from Googlebot.

    We rewrote only the 4 towns that had real demand (checked with rank tracker and call logs) and noindexed the rest. Rewritten pages had local job photos, specific neighborhoods, typical property types and real reviews from that town. Those 4 started ranking in 2-3 months. The copy-paste ones never did anything before anyway.

    Redirect first, email second. For the 50 with no equivalent I’d consider rebuilding the page if the link is from something strong, it’s usually cheaper than earning a similar link. Redirecting a deep resource link to a category page is often treated like a soft 404 anyway. In my experience recovery after late fixes took 1-3 months, but it did come back for most of it.

    Address change right before suspension is the classic trigger. Almost always it’s that.

    What worked for me last time:

    – business license showing the new address
    – a utility bill in the business name at the new address
    – a photo of the outside of the unit with signage visible
    – a photo of a branded van parked outside if they have one

    Don’t edit anything else on the profile while it’s under review. Every edit seems to reset the queue. Mine came back in about 3 weeks.

    Some dip is normal but 40% at week 3 usually means something is off. First thing: crawl the old URL list (from GSC or an old sitemap, not from the new site) and check every single one returns a single 301 straight to the final URL. Not 302, not a chain, not a redirect to the homepage.

    Nine times out of ten I find a chunk of URLs with trailing slash or uppercase variants that go 301 then 301 then 200, or just land on the home page.
