Our company blog lives on blog.example with its own CMS, around 300 posts. It has more links than the main site but the main product pages barely rank. The plan is to move it into /blog/ which means a migration and a lot of dev work.
For those who moved a blog from subdomain to subfolder: did the main site actually benefit, and how long did it take? Or did you see nothing?
