Working with a few trade businesses (plumbers, one electrician), all in mid-size UK towns. Old habit was to build 40-60 citations at launch through the usual directories.
Lately I’m doing maybe 15 core ones plus a few local and trade-specific ones, and it doesn’t seem to make any difference in the map pack compared to the clients where I did 50.
Are you still building bulk citations, or just the top ones for consistency and moving on to reviews and local links?
