A local business I help has been asked to sponsor a youth football club and a small tech meetup. Both would put a logo and a link on their sponsors page. Cost is modest, a few hundred each.
The business wants to do it for community reasons anyway, so I’m only asking about SEO. Are these links worth anything or does Google see them as paid? Should I ask for nofollow or sponsored to be safe?
