Genuine question, not trying to start a war.
I run a couple of affiliate sites in outdoor gear. Last year I started using AI for first drafts and doing heavy edits myself. About 40 posts done that way across both sites. So far nothing bad happened, a few of them rank better than my fully manual stuff.
But I keep reading about people getting wiped out in core updates and blaming AI content. Is that actually the cause for those people, or is it thin content that happens to be AI written?
Also curious what editing steps people use before hitting publish.
